REV. FR. EGIDIO PEDENZINI, IMC

 Born: June 9, 1939 – Died: October 14, 2022

It is with deep sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that the Consolata Missionaries announce the passing on to glory of Fr Egidio Pedenzini, IMC on October 14, 2022 at the MP Shah Hospital in Nairobi, Kenya. Until his death, Fr Pedenzini was the parish priest of Sereolipi Catholic Parish, Maralal diocese. He previously served as parish priest of Archer’s Post, Baragoi, Wamba and South Horr parishes.

He died at 83 years of age. He had 61 years of Religious Profession and 56 years of priesthood.

A requiem Mass will be held at Consolata Shrine, Westlands on Tuesday October 25, 2022 at 2:00PM.

Thereafter the body will leave Nairobi for a night vigil at the Saints Peter and Paul Cathedral, Maralal.

The final Mass will be at the Saints Peter and Paul Cathedral, Maralal on Wednesday October 26 from 10.00AM followed by burial at the Maralal Diocesan Cemetery.

He will be remembered fondly by all who knew him and his memories will always be with us.
