REV. FR. PIETRO BAUDENA
It is with deep sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that the Consolata Missionaries announce the passing on to glory of Rev. Fr. Pietro Baudena on March 22, 2019 at the Consolata Fathers Regional House, Westlands Nairobi after a long illness. Fr. Pietro Baudena has been staying at the Consolata Fathers Regional House. He has previouly served in the following places: Ngandu, Karima, Mugoiri, Kitito, Bethany House – Sagana and Sagana Noviciate.
He was one time the Regional Superior of the Consolata Missionaries in Kenya. He died at the age of 94 years. He had 60 years of religious profession and 70 years of priesthood.
A Requiem Mass will be held at Consolata Shrine – Westlands, Nairobi on Tuesday March 26, 2019 at 10:00 am and later another Mass at Sagana Catholic Church at 4:00 pm. The Final Mass will be at the Italian Memorial Church, Mathari on Wednesday March 27 at 10:00 am thereafter burial at the Consolata Cemetry Mathari, Nyeri.
He will be remembered fondly for his contribution towards the formation of the laity and the clergy.
May the Lord rest his soul in eternal peace. Amen
