It is with humble submission to God’s will that the Rt Rev. James Maria Wainaina, Bishop of Catholic Diocese of Murang’a, announces the demise of Rev. Fr.Timothy Mwangi Mburu, who served last at Our Lady Consolata Kiria-ini Parish.

Beloved son of the late Joseph Mburu Kamande and late lgnatiah Nduta Mburu. Brother to Jane Wanjiku Kibandi, the late Gabriel Kamande, the late Reuben Kamau, John Ndicu, Ruth Njeri, Mary Wairimu, Mathew Ndani, Rev. Jeremiah Kiguru, Peter Gathogo and Moses Muthondu.

Daily requiem masses are taking place at their residence in Mureke Village, Gatanga starting at 3:00pm.

On Thursday 5th October 2023, the mass will be held at Gatanga Catholic Church from 3:00pm.

The cortege leaves Our Lady Consolaca Kiria-ini Funeral Home on Friday 6th October 2023 at 7:00am for a funeral mass and rite of committal from 10:00am at Sacred Heart of Jesus Cathedral Church – Murang’a.
