Rev. Leonard Kimani Mungai

We announce the passing on to glory of Rev. Leonard Kimani Mungai. With deep sorrow, we mourn our Dear Brother, Father, Uncle, and Friend. This happened in Michigan USA after a short illness.

He was husband to Naomi Hannah Wanjiru and father to Madeleine Wanjiku, Tirus Mungai, Benjamin Kahura, and John Kiarie.

He was born on 7th May 1942, loving son to Francis Mungai Kiarie and Violet Wanjiku in Nachu, Kiambu. He was Brother to: the late John Kiarie of Nakuru, Nancy Gichiru of Makutano Ndalani, Evans Njau Mungai of Kitengela, Margret Njeri of Arizona USA and, Rosalind Nduta of Boston USA, the late Charles Mburu of Ngong, Grace Gichiru of Kikuyu, the late Cyrus Njogu of Kikuyu, the late Nduta of Kikuyu, Geoffrey Njau of Ongata Rongai, Nancy Kiarie of Ongata Rongai, Eliud Kiarie of Embakasi, Esther Wahinya of Embakasi, Robinson Njoroge of Matuu, the late Jackson Njau of Kikuyu and Henry Kamau of Kikuyu.

The Funeral will take place on Friday 9th December 2022 in Plymouth, Michigan.

He was Church Minister both in Kenya and USA. We mourn this death both in Nairobi and Michigan.

He is survived by many grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews.

We celebrate his vast life at age 80 years and give God all the Glory and the Honor for his dear life.
