It is with profound sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the transition of Rev. Overseer Samuel A, Oriedo which occurred on 30th September, 2023.

Beloved son of the late Rev. Francis Ameyo and Mrs. Jessica Ameyo of Emuhaya Sub-County, Ebusubi Sub-location.

Son-in-law to the late Mr Shadrack Akumbi and Mrs Alfreda Nanga. of Ebuyangu Sub-location, Ekhakamba village.

Loving husband to Rev. Addah Amimo Oriedo. Doting father to the late Judith Ondeche, Fanice Oriedo, Truphena Oriedo, Jessica Oriedo, Rose Oriedo, Leah Oriedo, Everlyne Oriedo, Dorice Oriedo, Dr.Silas Oriedo (USA) and Mr. Mark Oriedo.

Father-in-law to Dr. Grace Minage (USA) and Mrs. Carolyne Ondeche, Mark, Vitalis, Peter, Ngala, Douglas, David and James.

Brother to the late Astone Ameyo, Justus Obed Ameyo, the late Michael Omuranda and Benson K. Ameyo.

He was Brother-in-law to Joel, Ernest, Josam, Patrick and Moses of Ebuyangu Village.

Grandfather to Peter, Hildah, Mercy, Susan, Berrick, Berrine, Naomi, Silas, Faridah, Nipher, Sammy, Sarah, Ian, Lewis, Susan, Felix, Genesis, Exodus, Blessing, Marion. Precious, Siara, Talia, Emmanuel,Fredrick,Tonny, Henry, Samuel, Shalyne, Ivy, Myra, Jevons, Arielle,Viccon, and Farel not forgetting his great-grandchild Peter Omoka.

Friends and family are meeting daily at his home, Vihiga County, Emuhaya Sub-county, Ebusubi, Mundichiri for prayers and funeral arrangements.

Memorial and funeral service will be held at his home Ebusubi Mundichiri, Central Bunyore.

The cortege leaves Star Annex Mortuary (Kisumu) on Thursday, 24′ November. 2023 and proceed to Mundichiri Church of God for brief service and finally to his home.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, November, 2023 at Mundichiri Primary School, thereafter the burial ceremony will be held at his home in Vihiga County, Emuhaya Constituency, Central Bunyore Ward, Ebusubi Sub-location, Mundichiri Village.

“Great husband, Dad, Kuka, we loved you but God loved you more. Forever you will be cherished and never forgotten.”

2nd Timothy 4:7 have fought a good fight, hove finished the race, I have kept the faith.

Rest easy Dad. We give God all the glory.
