Rev. Peter Njeru Waweru

1953 – 2022

It is with great sadness and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Rev. Peter Njeru Waweru of Deliverance Church Kasarani Mwiki, on 4th December, 2022.

Loving husband toGrace Wairimu Njeru. Doting father to Geff Waweru, Anne Murimi, the late Isabelle Waweru and Nimrod Maina. Father-in-law to Rosa Kihara, Fred Murimi, Valentine Maina.

Son to the late Geoffrey Waweru Njeru and the late Hannah Wambuku Waweru.

Grandfather to Jacob Murimi, Isaac Murimi, Nimo Waweru, Peter Njeru Waweru, Geffy Waweru, Abigail Maina and Amanda Maina.

Son-in-law to the late Nimrod Mama Macharia (wa Matayo) and Isabella Nyambura Maina.

Brother to the fate Francis Githaiga, Jennifer Wangari Njuguna – Ol jororok Market and Stanley Njuguna, Stephen Thuo, Eston JM, Beatrice Mwangi, Hellen Wairimu, Elizabeth Wangari (Kanini) and Alex and Purity Macharia.

Brother-in-law to Duncan Macharia, Beattie Ndung’u, Johnson Mwangi, the late Miriam Wanjiru Njagi, Dathan Marira, Helen Wangui Njenga, the late John Mugo, Tabitha Wangechi Mutonga, Julia Muthoni Theuri and Zephaniah Gichure. A cousin and uncle to many.

A memorial prayer service will be held on Sunday, 11th December 2022 at Deliverance Church – Umoja, from 3.00pm.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home – Mbagathi Way on Wednesday 14th December, 2022 at 8.00am followed by a burial service at Deliverance Church Langata at 10:00am. The Interment will be held at Langata Cemetery thereafter.
