It is with great sorrow that we announce the death of Rev. Sr. Mercy Wangari Kariuki, of the Sisters of Emmanuel, Catholic Diocese of Murang’a.

She was born on 13th September 1969, in Karega Village, Irigu-ini Sub-location, Kigumo Sub-county – Murang’a County.

She is the first born child of the late Henry Kariuki Murige and Hannah Mboo Kariuki.

She is sister to Ernest Mwangi, Dugan Maina, Faith Muthoni, Dominic Kimani and Simon Muniu (Ngiri).

There will be a Requiem Mass at her parent’s home today, Saturday 2nd April, 2022, at 3.00pm and at St. Paul Karega Catholic Church in St. Pius X Mariira Catholic Parish on Monday, 4th April, 2022, at 3.00pm.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home (Kabati), on Tuesday 5th April, 2022 at 8.00am.

The Funeral Mass will be held at Beatitudes Girls’ High School – Maragua, at 10am and thereafter internment at the Sisters of Emmanuel Cemetery in Maragua, Samar Village.
