RHODA KALEKYE KASANGA

It is with the humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of our beloved Rhoda Kalekye Kasanga, on May 15th 2023 at Mater Hospital, Nairobi.

Rhoda was the cherished child of Rosemary Mbulwa and the late Daniel Ndambuki Mulinga.

She was the widow of the late Charles Kasanga, and a dear mother to the late Gregory Muthwii, Kaleli & Nduku Kasanga (Kiongwani), Mary Wamue & Edwin Orero (UK) and Felicity Mumbua (UK).

Proud grandmother to Bash, David, Ngelema, Faith, Mbulwa, Helena, Bora and Moses.

Daughter in law to late Katika and late Nyiva Muthwii.

Loving sister to Jacinta Nthenya Simu, late Stella Mueni Ndoloka, Koki Mulinga, late Domitilla Ngami, Bernadette Mwelu, Francisca Monthe, late Tina Ndungwa, late Francis Nzungi, late Albanus Nzuki, late George Kaloki, late Nicodemus Nzyuko, Pascalia Katumbi, Peter Mulinga, late Josephine Mutio, late Agnes Kalekye, late Nicholas Mutwii, Sim Ndilinge, late Josephat Mutua, late Emily Mumbua Njoroge, Veronica Mbatha, Winnie Mutheu, Musau, Mutuku, Mutono, Muathe, Ngusye and Kalondu.

Beloved sister in law to Ann Kisebu, late Mutele, Alan Simu, Mutei Ndoloka, Nzyoka, Muthoki, Mutuku, Mutwiwa, Ndeleve, among others. A doting auntie to many. Although

Rhoda’s passing was untimely, the time that she spent in our lives was memorable and full of joy.

We will honour her life at a requiem mass at the Mater Hospital Chapel on Thursday, 25th May 2023 at 10.00am.

Prayer meetings are taking place at the family home in Kiongwani, Makueni County.

The cortege will leave the Mater Hospital Mortuary on Friday 26th May at 9.00 am, for burial at Kiongwani, Makueni County.

Rhoda, you will live in our hearts forever. Rest in eternal peace.
