Dee, today marks one year since you left us. We have cried and still cry when we think about the manner in which you were taken from us. We were dumbfounded when they told us that it is the love of your life whom they have charged with your murder. How? Why? We are pained because we do not understand. But, we will not rest until we know the truth. We will not rest until you get justice.

We miss you greatly. Not a day goes by that we don’t think about you. Though we mourn, we are comforted by our knowledge of who you were, where you are ( home in God’s loving hands) and our firm conviction that you are with us, every day, unseen, unheard but always watching over Ryan and Jason who miss you so terribly.

Dearly missed by parents, children, sister, brother, cousins, uncles, aunts, grandparents, friends, colleagues and the family at large.

Friends, colleagues and relatives are invited for graveside prayers at her father’s home in Iruku Village, Chuka, Tharaka Nithi County today on Sunday 8th July, 2018 at 10am after which the Justice For Rhoda Initiative (JRI) will be launched.
