Richard Akombo Ombewa

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of Mzee Richard Akombo Ombewa on May 10, 2018.

Husband of the late Jenifer Akombo and Pamela Akombo. Son of the late Harun Ombewa and the late Rael Ombewa. Son-in-law of the late Silas Abwao and Joyce Abwao and the late Mariko Denge and the late Flora Denge. Father of Rebeca, the late Danston, the late Rael, Eunice, the late John, Joyce, Florence, Allan, Aineah, Millicent and Maureen. Father-in-law of Joshua Osir, Eng. Joshua Ndeda, David Otiende, Dickens Otiende, Dorine and Nelly. Grandfather of many. Brother of the late Dishon Ojiayo, Meshack Osewe, the late Silpa Ombok, the late Elseba Odhiambo, Esther Diang’a and Nerea Were. Uncle of Dr. Jak Nyabundi, Prof. Julius Nyabundi and Eng. Amos Ombok.

The cortege leaves Star mortuary on Friday May 25th 2018. Burial will be on Saturday May 26th 2018 at his home in Katieno Kalwande village, Seme.

Fundraising to offset burial expenses will be held at the Ofafa Memorial Hall, Kisumu from 5.00pm on Thursday May 17th 2018.

A second fundraiser will take place on Tuesday May 22nd 2018 from 5.00pm on Norwich Union Building, Nairobi.
