The Chweya family regrets to announce the death and funeral of Richard Mochama Chweya (former Manager Kenya Revenue Authority – KRA).

Son of the late Elder Laban Chweya and the late Hellen Nyamoita Chweya. Brother of Jonathan Matoke Chweya (Retired Head Teacher Metamaywa Pri School and First CDF Chairman Nyaribari Masaba), Elder Yabesh Okemwa Chweya (Nicotents), Rudia Nyangau, Grace Kiage, Martha Mauko, Joyce Mose, Alice Chweya, Alfred Matoya Chweya (Homa-bay County), the late Truphosa Daniel and Josca Kennedy. Husband of Jennifer Chelangat Mochama. Son-in-law of Azariah Bor and Alice Bor. Father of Fridah Kwamboka Yegon (USA), Maureen Omenyo (Deakin University, Australia), Laban Chweya (UoN). Father-in-law of Eden Sang Yegon. Brother-in-law of the late Jane Matoke, Agnes Okemwa, Esther Matoya. Matrimonial Brother-in-law of Kipkemoi Kirui, Nancy Kirui, Bornes Koech, Pastor Cleophas Kirui, Collins Kirui, Robert Kirui, Evaline Cherotich.

The cortege will leave Hema Hospital, Kisii on Friday 27th to his home Nyanturago and funeral will take place on Sunday 29th September, 2019 at Nyanturago Green Stadium, Nyamasibi, Nyaribari Masaba, Kisii County.
