It is with deep regret that we announce the sudden death of Inspector of Police Richard Mugo Ngunyenye on Thursday August 24, 2017 of Hiriga Village, Mathira West-Nyeri County.

Son of the late Bedan Ngunyenye and the late Grace Ngunyenye. Husband of Beatrice Wambui Mugo. Father of Grace Neil, Elizabeth Thuguri, Nancy Nduta and Faith Wangui. Brother of the late Bernard Kiboi, the late Macharia, the late Ngunju, Catherine Wachera Kimunya, Antony Gikandi (ICEA LION), Isaac Njonge, Patricia Wairimu, Rachel Mumbi Ngatha and Simon Wahome. Son-in-law of Njuguna Muiga and Liberata Thuguri. Brother-in-law of Ann Wangui Muthee, Robert Muiga, Consolata Njoki Nduati, Patrick Maina, Peter Kuria, Nancy Njuguna and Veronica Muthoni Mbogo. Uncle of many children.

Family and friends meeting will commence as from Monday 28/08/2017 at 5:00pm to Wednesday 30/08/2017 at his home Hiriga Village and at PCEA St. Andrews church in Nairobi. The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Mortuary on Friday 01/09/2017 at 06:00am. Burial service will be at home Hiriga Village, Mathira West-,Nyeri County at I I:00am.
