Richard Ng’ang’a Wairutu

It is with profound sadness and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of our father and friend Richard Ng’ang’aWairutu who passed away on the 3rd March 2023 after an illness bravely borne. Prior to his demise, Richard Ng’ang’a Wairutu was a consummate businessman, a proud tea farmer but above all, a helping hand to all in need of that hand.

Son of the late William Wairutu and Grace Wanjiru. Son-in-law to the late Robert Kiboi Gakumbi and the late Martha Warigia.

Beloved husband and friend to Lucy Wamaitha Kiboi. Loving father to Stella Wanjiru Ng’ang’a-Njoroge, Billy Wairutu Ng’ang’a and Robert Kiboi Ng’ang’a.

Bother to Hannah Wangari, Hellen Muthoni, Hannah Wanjiku, Mary Wambui, Miriam Wairimu, Samuel Chege, John Kamau, and David Muchiri.

Brother-in-law to Rosemary Wangeci, Elizabeth Njoki, Peter Kamau,Agnes Mwangi, Paul Kaguru, Mary Wanjiku, the late Francis Kariu and John Ndaba.

Father-in-Law to James Njoroge Gitau and Naomi Nasesia.

He was a doting Guka to Elita Wambui Njoroge, Jamba Gitau Njoroge, Jared Wairutu Ng’ang’a and Eliora Wamaitha Njoroge. He was an uncle and a dear friend to many.

Family and Friends shall be meeting at the United Kenya Club, Nairobi on Tuesday, 7th March 2023 to Thursday, 9th March 2023 for prayers and updates on burial arrangements.

A memorial service shall be held on Thursday, 9th March 2023 at the Parklands Baptist Church, Westlands.

The cortege will leave Lee Funeral Home on Friday, 10th March 2023 at 9.00a.m for his Ndakaini Farm where the late Richard Ng’ang’a Wairutu will be laid to rest.

Means on how well wishers may support the family during this trying time shall be communicated at the meeting.
