Robert Githinji Wangewa

We regret to announce the passing away of Robert Githinji Wangewa of Thiboro, Thiong’o Road, Kangemi.

Husband of Alice Ngoiri Githinji. Son of the late Daniel Wangewa and the late Loise Muthoni Wangewa. Son-in-law of Peninah Nyathira Kiarie. Father of Loise Muthoni, Daniel Wangewa, Peninah Wanjiru, Joseph Kiarie, James Kamau and Francis Ndonye. Father-in-law of Eng. Moses Kuiyaki, Racheal Wangewa, Kimani Njenga, Ziporah Kiarie, Chebet Kirui and Benah Omusinde. Grandfather of Nigel Njenga, Jason Githinji, Liam Githinji, Adrian Githinji , Malkia Mumbi, Nadia Ngoiri, Griffin Githinji, Levi Wangewa, Brinley Ngoiri and many others. Brother of the late James Kamau, the late Bethwel Njenga, Nelly Thiong’o, Peter Kamuyu, Jecinta Muturi, Esther Kamau, the late Stephen Njomo, Sophia Kimani, Susan Mbira, Lydia Kanja and Patrick Kibe.

The cortege leaves Umash Funeral home on Wednesday 11th July 2018 at 9.00am.

The service will be held at ACK St Philips, Thiboro at 11.00am and thereafter the interment of the body at Langata Cemetery.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his home Thiboro, Thiong’o Road, Kangemi from 4.00pm for prayers and funeral arrangements.
