It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Rose Ambundo Nyangena following a fire accident and subsequent hospitalization for six weeks.

Daughter of the late Andrew Ambundo Asakhulu and Rev Emily And Ambuncto. Beloved wife of George O’Nyangena. Mother of Maureen, Vivianne, Jeremy and Jimmy. Mother-in-law of Benmark Orimba. Grandmother of Idris, Zara and the late Arie.

Sister of the late Reuben, Medina, Lihan, the late Vicky, Hon Lystone Ambundo, Peter, Agnes, Esther, Michael and Sheila. Sister-in-law of Teresa Bisonga, Stanley Nyakundi, Mary Ongeri, Samuel Kibagendi, Esther Nyanianyi Ogeto, Agnes Nyangena Muye, North Nyangena, Reagan Oachi, the late Amedi Amukoa, Dr Ajoni Adede, Jacqueline Ambundo Caleb Okumu, Rose Anjawa & Elizabeth Ambundo.

Aunt of Bisongas Nyakundis, Kibagendis, Ambundos Ongeris, Muyes, Ogetos, Adedes, Okumus, Nambusis, Migandas among others. Niece of Geoffrey Asanyo, among others.

Friends and family are meeting at their home in Transview Estate, Athi River every evening for prayers from 5.30pm.

There will be a mini funds drive on 18th September, 2021, from 4.00pm at Transview Estate, Athi River to defray the hospital bill.The main fundraising will be held on 21st September, 2021 at CiTAM -Valley Road, Tumaini Hall, at 5.00pm.

A Church service will be held at CITAM Valley Road, Mac Bride Hall on 22nd September 2021 at 2.00pm.

The burial date is slated for 24th September, 2021, at Nyaisuni Village, Bobaracho Market, Kitutu Chache North, Kisii County.
