It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden death of Rose Faith Apondi Otieno Odhiambo, a teacher at Kilimani Primary School, Nairobi which occurred on 4th July, 2018 at The Karen Hospital after a short illness.

Beloved daughter of the late John Mark Otieno Ndaya and the late Abigael Abonyo Otieno. Daughter-in-law of the late Raphael Obwango and Regina Aoko. Beloved wife of Charles Odhiambo Obwango. Dotting mother of Peter Ochieng, Jacob Oduor and Dr. Mercy Atieno. Sister of Prof. James Oloo, the late Elizabeth Akoth, Joseph Omondi, Millicent Atieno, the late Charles Onyango, Ben Oloo, Raymond Opot, Margaret Akoth, Wilfred Otieno, Odhiambo, Dr. Pauline Nam, Dr. Deborah Owira, Dr. Alex Otieno and others. Sister-in-law of the late Victoria Odinga, Dr. F.A. Okoth, the late Joseph Odenyo, Margaret Agunda, Maurice Otundo, Mary Theresa Awino, Benard Agoro, Caroline Aoko, Dr. Ursulla Okoth, the late Susan Odenyo, Bella Otundo, Caroline Agoro, Dr. Margaret Oloo, Emma Omondi and others.

Meetings will be held on Wednesday 11th and Friday 13th July 2018 at Afya Centre from 5.00pm and there will be a main fundraiser on Tuesday 17th July, 2018 at Garden Square from 5.00pm.

Family and friends will continue to have the usual meetings at her residence in Nairobi.

There will be a Requiem Mass at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, Adams Arcade at 2.30pm on Thursday 19th July, 2018.

Burial is set for 21st July, 2018 at her home in Alego Kaugagi, Nyadianga Village, Siaya County.
