It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will, that we announce the promotion to glory of Rose Gakii Kirigia on 11th November, 2019 after a long illness at the Nanyuki Cottage Hospital.

Wife of Josphat Kirigia M’Aburi of Ntemwene (Kibari Vallage), Meru-South. Daughter of the late Micheck M’Thamba and Grace Kanono M’Thamba.

Sister of Harriet, Lilian, the late Kimathi, Everlyn, the late Mugambi and Makena. Sister-in-law of Jonathan, the late Festus and Gikunda.

Mother of the late Julius Murithi, Prof. Joses Kirigia, Titus Mwirigi, Dr. Doris Kirigia, Judy Kirigia, Benson Koome, Mercy Mwendwa and Laban Kirimi. Mother-in-law of Lenity Kainyu, Jane Kanana, Sam Njuguna and Pauline Wavinya.

Grandmother of Kithinji, Regina, Kathure, Mutethia, Gitonga, Karimi,Tina,Wendy, Joy, Mutuma, Munene, Jason and Jayden. Great grandmother of Sheira, Gift, Angel, Emmanuel and Muthomi,

Family and friends are meeting at The Prime Regent Hotel, Nkubu starting Wednesday 13th November 2019 at 5:30pm.

The cortege leaves Consolata mission Hospital Nkubu at 8.00am on Wednesday 20th November 2019 for the funeral service at Ntemwene Methodist Church at 9:30am. Thereafter, she will be laid to rest at their residence in Kibari village Ntemwene.
