APPRECIATION

We the family of Patrick Maina and the late Mrs. Rose Wangari Maina extend our deepest gratitude for your beautiful comforting words, kind expressions of sympathy, your presence, moral and financial support following the passing on of our, matriarch, wife, mother, grandmother, teacher, leader and counsellor.

Our heartfelt gratitude goes to His Excellency Dr. William Samoei Ruto, CGH, President of the Republic of Kenya and Commander-in-Chief of the Kenya Defence Forces, Hon. Rigathi Gachagua, Deputy President of Kenya, Cabinet Secretaries led by Hon. Moses Kuria, Principal Secretaries led by Dr. Raymond OrnoIto, Chief Administrative Secretaries led by Dennis ltumbi, Council of Governors represented by Her Excellency Governor Cecily Mbarire, Members of the Senate led by Hon.Aaron Cheruiyot, Members of Parliament led by Leader Of Majority – Hon. Kimani Ichung’wa, former Members of Parliament, all Members of County Assemblies, Chairpersons of various parastatals and boards led by Eng. We are eternally grateful to all the priests and celebrants who offered the requisite sacraments, Requiem masses and the funeral mass led by Rev, Fr Peter Kiarie, the Fr.-in-Charge, St.Andrew Catholic Parish, Rironi-Limuru.We thank the community of St.Andrew Catholic Parish-Rironi and especially members of the Catholic Women Association for their steadfast support.

To the funeral organising committees of Hotel Boulevard, Nairobi and at our residence in Rironi, we thank you for your support in planning and executing a befitting send-off To all our village-mates of Rironi and the great people of Limuru we are grateful. To all the family members, friends, neighbours and colleagues who supported us silently and in ways we may never know, we are grateful.

We thank you all for being with us on this difficult and trying journey.
