Rose Wanjiru Kahihu

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Rose Wanjiru Kahihu on 2nd March, 2022 after a short illness.

She was an employee of Added Value Group Co. Nairobi. Beloved wife of the late George Kahihu Kibera, formerly of the Ministry of Trade and Commerce.

Daughter of the late SP Eliud Gikungu Harun and the late Rahab Wanjiku Gikungu of Gituto village, Kahuhia, Murang’a County. Daughter-in-law of the late Joseph Kibera Njonjo and Esther Wahinya Kibera of Ngemwa village, Ikinu, Githunguri sub- county.

Loving mother to Jesse Kibera Kahihu of KCA University, Nairobi and Joy Wahinya of Good Testimony International School, Nairobi.

Sister to Harun Gikungu, Late Benson Nyutho Gikungu, Late Arthur Chege Gikungu, Zipporah Wambui Gikungu (UK), Mary Wangui and Martin Matigi.

Sister-in-law to Mr and Mrs Thiongo Murengi, Mr & Mrs Munene Kamau, Mr & Mrs Peter Njonjo (US), Mr & Mrs Njoroge Mwanji, Lucy Kibera, Mr & Mrs Timothy Kibera and Kenneth Mimi.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at her home in Ngemwa. Other meetings in Nairobi will commence on Monday, 7th March, 2022, at PCEA St. Andrews Church Nairobi, every evening from 5pm – 7.30pm at lecture room.

The cortege will leave Kenyatta University Memorial Mortuary, Thika Road, on 10th March 2022 at 8.30am.

The funeral Service will take place at PCEA Ngemwa Church starting at 10.30am and thereafter the burial at her home in Ngemwa village.
