Rosemary Adhiambo Awuor

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance that we announce the untimely death of Rosemary Adhiambo Awuor of Imara Daima Estate and Rabango, Siaya County on 6th June, 2022 following a short illness.

Beloved wife of the late Francis Ong’injo Awuor. Daughter to the late Nelson Obiero and Bernadette Obiero of Asembo, Siaya County. Loving mother to George Otieno Awuor (Denver -Colorado, USA), Allan Oduor (Chuka University), Linda Achieng Hayman (Sweden), Brenda Akinyi Larsson (Sweden) and Brian Owino Awuor (St. Mary’s Hospital – Nairobi). Grandmother to Ariella, Kelly, Rose,Arianna and Malaika.

Sister to the late William Adongo, the late Dr. Anthony Wandugu, the late Margaret Ojwang, Dr. Beatrice Okatch, Frederick Obiero, Elizabeth Obiero (Aga Khan High School) and Thomas Omondi.

Funeral arrangements are ongoing online and at her home in Rabango, Siaya County, daily.

The cortege leaves BAMA Hospital Mortuary – Siaya on Friday, 17th June, 2022 at 1.00pm followed by a funeral service at The Holy Cross Catholic Church – Siaya, starting from 2.00pm. Thereafter, there shall be an overnight stay and burial at her home in Rabango, Siaya County on Saturday, 18th June 2022.
