APPRECIATION

We, the children, grandchildren and siblings of the late Rosemary Wambui Gachathi, wholeheartedly thank all those who walked the journey with us during her short illness and subsequent demise on 28th December 2018.

We would particularly like to thank all our families including the Nyakinyori, Mirie and Murungi families for their unending love, Wambui’s friends and friends of the family for their unwavering support, the Funeral Committee and the supporting team in Kiambaa for giving of their time and resources to give Wambui a wonderful send off, Karura Community Chapel and Nairobi Chapel for their continuous spiritual guidance, Charles Kariuki, his team of doctors and the ICU Nursing Team Nairobi Hospital for the dedicated and dignified care that they gave Wambui, the Partners and Staff at Viva Africa Consulting LLP for supporting Wambui’s children at all times.

Love was Wambui’s legacy, carefully built over her 59 years of life. An outpouring of love is what we as her family continue to receive daily from all those that knew her. Thank you for standing with us.

God’s love is unfailing and unchanging through all of life’s seasons.

I live in Sydney Australia. About 2 months ago I started wondering how my old schoolmate Rosemary was doing. I went to Kenyatta College with her but I have not seen her since the early eighties. I decided to google her and realised she had passed on. This is to express my condolences and best wishes to members of her family. I now wish I had been able to keep in touch earlier but I am sure she lived a full life. May her soul rest in peace.

My sincere condolences to the family.
