It is with profound sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of Retired Elder Josephine Wangari Karanja. (Formerly of Londiani) on 13th May, 2022.

She was the daughter of Solomon Kahura Mbugua and Tabitha Wanjiku & Shibira Wanjiku. Wife to the late Jonathan Karanja Ihugo, Mother to Mr & Mrs. Joel Ihugo, M/s Freshia Wairimu, Mr & Mrs. Sammy Kahura, Mr & Mrs Geoffrey Gathura, Mr & Mrs Phillip Gitiya and Mr & Mrs Hezron Kanyari.

Sister to Mrs Grace Muchui, Mr & Mrs Zablon Ngugi, Mr & Mrs Leonard Kamau, Mrs Helen Kangara, the late Phillip Gitiya, the late Eliud Mugo & Rahab, the late Simon Karuku, the late Richard Nganga & Nyambura the late David Wainaina & Phyllis Nyokabi. Mrs Wambui, the late Wangari, Mr& Mrs Davis Kamau. M/s Lydia Wanjiru, M/s Njeri, M/s Salome, M/s Hannah, the late Karuku. Cucu, aunt, grandmother and great-grandmother to very many.

There will be a Memorial service at P.C.E.A – Mwangaza Church Kiamunyi on Sunday at 2.00pm after the church service on 22nd May, 2022.

Prayers and meetings are being held at her home in Kiamunyi, near Zaburi Centre – Nakuru.

The cortege leaves War Memorial Funeral Home on 24th May, 2022 at 8.30am for a funeral service at P.C.E.A – Mwangaza Church Kiamunyi. Thereafter, the burial ceremony at her home in Kiamunyi near Zaburi Centre, Nakuru.
