Rtd. Elder Mrs Florence Waithira Mwangi Cauri

Mom rested on the morning of Thursday 5th May, at 86 years, after a long illness.

She was wife to the late Stephen Mwangi Cauri of Githunguri, Kiambu, and daughter to the late Jonathan Wamai, the late Peris Wambui, and Grace Mumbi of Gathanji Village. Loving mother to Joyce Cauri, the late Robert Cauri, Carolyne Wambui, and Jonathan Wamai, also foster mother to Irungu (late), Margaret, Mwangi (late), and Gikonyo among others. Mother-in-law to Rose Cauri, Davis Maina, and Alice Wamai. She was a sister-in-law to Cauri’s of Kanjai and sister to the Wamais of Gathanji. She was a beloved grandmother, great-grand mother, and great-great grandmother.

Prayer meetings are being held at her Kanjai home at 4.30 p.m. daily.

The body will leave Mukoe Mortuary, Githunguri at 8.00am, Friday 13th May 2022, while the celebration of life will be held at the PCEA Kanjai church at 10.00am. The burial ceremony will follow thereafter at her home, Kanjai village.

Florence lived and served with integrity, compassion, and grace, and she will be dearly missed by all who loved her.
