Rufus Waigi Nyoro

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Rufus Waigi Nyoro who left us on the 19th of March 2023, after a brief illness at St. Annes Hospital Rironi.

Son of the late George Nyoro Gichini and Miriam Njeri Nyoro.

He was married to the late Flora Waithera Waigi and later to Angelina Muthoni Waigi. Loving father of George Nyoro Waigi,Tuesday Njeri Chege, Charity Mweru Muriuki, and Richard Muiruri Waigi. A father-in-law to Faith Nyambura Nyoro, Prof. John Chege Githiora, and Charles Muriuki.

A kind- hearted grandfather to Waithera Nyoro, Ian Muriuki, Githiora Chege, Nyaguthii Nyoro, Njeri Nyoro,Wambui Chege, Nduta Muriuki, and Amani Nyoro.

Brother to the late Geoffrey Gichini, Joyce Njoki Marigi of Nakuru, the late Robert Kangethe, Hannah Wambui, and John Muiru (USA).

Funeral arrangements and prayers are taking place daily at 3:00pm at his home in Chunga Mali Rironi, Kiambu County.

We will gather to say our final goodbyes on Tuesday, 28th of March 2023. The cortege will leave Uplands Funeral Home at 9.00am, followed by a burial ceremony at his home at 11:00am.
