Ruth Gichuru Magambo

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance that we announce the death of Ruth Gichuru Magambo, which occurred on 11th May, 2023 following a short illness.

Daughter to the late Elijah M’Mbwi and the late Zipporah Karai M’Mbwi.

Wife to the late Stephen Gichuru Magambo. Loving mother to Mercy Mwanthi, Roy Maingi, Carol Magambo, the late Maureen Mwendwa, Yvonne Kinanu and Ivy Kathure.

Sister to the late Henry Kiambi, Charles Murungi, Janet Kinya, Christopher Mugambi, Mary Kanana, Livingston Murithi, the late Mwongera, George Mwirigi, Eunice Gacheri and the late Raphael Muthee.

Mother-in-law to James Mwanthi, Marielyne Nekesa, Albert Kigera and Bryan Kevogo. She was Aunt to many and a doting grandmother.

Family and friends are meeting at her home in Lang’ata daily for prayers from 6:00 – 7:00pm.

A transition service will be held in her memory on Thursday, 18th May, 2023 at St. Peter’s Methodist Church – Lang’ata, at 2.00pm.

The cortege leaves Montezuma and Monalisa Home – Thika on Friday, 19th May, 2023 at 7:00am. Thereafter, the burial service will follow at her home in Katheri, Meru.
