It is with profound sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of our beloved mother Ruth Jelagat Cheruiyot, that occurred 30th June, 2022.

Wife to the late Samuel Harry Cheruiyot. Loving mother to Emilly Cheruiyot, the late Hannington Kipkemboi Cheruiyot, the late Irene Jepkorir Cheruiyot, Paul Kibet Cheruiyot (Jambo), Elijah Cheruiyot (Chepkwony), John Kipruto Cheruiyot (USA), Rhoda Jemeli Ngetich, Kennedy Kipchumba. Mother-in-law to Martha Cheruiyot, Gladys Jelimo Cheruiyot, Rael Cheruiyot.

Grandmother to Caroline Kagwe, Fredrick Kiprono Cheruiyot (USA), Harriet Cheruto, Irene Cheruiyot, Miriam Chemutai Saina, Mike Kiplagat Ngetich and several other great-great-grandchildren.

Daughter to the late Joshua Kosut and the late Naomi Kosut of Kapkangani (Nandi).

Daughter-in-law to the late Elijah Cheruiyot (Senior Chief) and the late Rhoda Cheruiyot, Sister-in-law the late Hansen Cheruiyot, the late Mary Choge, the late John Cheruiyot, the late Jacob Cheruiyot, Jane Cheruiyot.

Sister to Elizabeth Saina, Sarah Njuguna, Jeniffer Kosut, Joseph Kibiwott, Philip Kosut and others.

The cortege leaves Eldoret Hospital Mortuary 5th July, 2022 at 10.00am for church service at ACK St. Barnabas – Kipkenyo Church. The burial service will take place on Wednesday 6th July, 2022 at Kipsabuge Farm (Kipkenyo).
