It is with profound sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of Ruth Njoki Waweru that occurred on Monday, 1st August 2022, after a long illness, bravely borne.

Beloved wife to the late Josephat Waweru, daughter of the late Jackson Kimani and late Eunice Waruguru.

Loving mother of Catherine Wangari (University of Eldoret), Eunice Waweru (HF Group) and David Kimani (Businessman).

Mother-in-law to Prof. Francis Mburu, Eng. George Kiiru and Naomie Sava Kimani.

Sister to Phares Wanderi, the late Moses Mburu, John Njihia and Mary Wangui.

Doting grandmother to Lisa Njoki, Shawn Waweru, the late Eve Nyambura, Mark Mburu and Natalie Njoki.Aunty, cousin and friend to many.

Friends and family are meeting for daily prayers at her home in Juja Farm and at her daughter’s home (Eunice Waweru) at Greenview Park Estate, Ruiru, from 4.00pm.

The cortege will leave Kenyatta University Funeral Home (Thika Rd) at 8:30am on Monday, 8 August 2022, for a funeral service and interment at her home in Juja Farm.
