Ruth Wambui Kuria

We accept God’s will as we announce the passing on of Ruth Wambui Kuria which occurred on 22nd October, 2023. Ruth was a wife, doting mother, grandmother, pastor, friend and mentor to many.

She is survived by her husband Joseph Mwangi Kuria and children Caroline Kuria King’ori, Lydia Kuria Gathima, Sammy Kuria Mwangi and Edwin Thairu Kuria. Mother-in-law to Andrew King’ori, George Gathima, Irene Kinya and Edna Gicovi. She was grandmother to Lexy,Victoria, Gian,Ariel, Gabriella, Galya, Jasmine, Debbie,Ahadi, Jasiri and many more.

Daughter of Benson Thairu Muthui (late) and Rachael Wairimu (late) and Elizabeth Wangari (late), and daughter in law to Samuel Kuria (late) and Beth Mukami (late).

Sister to Priscilla Wanjiru, Jason Muthui, Sarah W Ndungu, Ephantus Wandimi (late), Anna G. Wathegi, Michael Muthui, Ruth Ndirangu (late), John Rukwaro, George Ngambi (late), Joseph Muchemi (late), Peter Gatero, David Gatero, Samuel Nderitu (late), Margaret Wahogo, Grace Mwangi and Millicent Nyaga.

Sister-in-law to Wilson Ngugi, Mary Ndogo,Agnes Mwania, David Kamau, Simon Chihi (late) and Teresiah Ndungu.

Ruth’s memorial service will be held at Mamlaka Hill Chapel – City Campus on Tuesday 31st October, 2023 from 2pm.

The cortege leaves Lee Funeral Home on Wednesday 1st November, 2023 at 7am for a funeral service at Dagracia Events Centre in Ruai and thereafter a burial will be held at her home.
