Safida Njeri Kago

With great sadness, we announce the death of Safida Njeri Kago on 9th July, 2023. Safida was our dearly beloved mother, doting grandmother, and great grandmother.

She was the loving wife of the late Gerald Kago Kagumura, mother to the late Karanja, Kagichiri, Njuguna, Mburu, Wanjiku, Wangui, Maguta, Margaret and Ann, mother-in-law to Nyambura, Hannah, Esther, Karwe, Macharia, Muthoni and Wangure.

Sister to the late Keziah, Maguta and Rose.

Grandmother to Njeri, Kago and Wathugi Kagichiri; Kago and Njeri Njuguna; Njeri and Faith Mburu; Muthoni, Njeri Kariuki and Wambui Karwe; King’a, Ringa and Njeri Macharia; Wangari and Kafungo Wangure.

Family and friends are meeting at All Saints Cathedral on Thursday 13th July, 2023 and Friday 14th July, 2023 at 6:00pm and at home in Kigumo everyday.

The cortege leaves Kabati Montezuma on Tuesday 18th July, 2023 at 7:30am. The funeral service will be held at 9:30am at Kigumo Catholic Church, and thereafter interment at her Gatumbi farm.

She will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends.
