Salome Njoki Karanja

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Salome Njoki Karanja that occurred on 22nd May 2023.

Daughter to the late Kiuru Kibaru and Wanjiru Kiuru.

Wife to the late Harrison Karanja Ng’ang’a. Mother to Gerald Ng’ang’a, Stephen Kiuru, the late David Gathairu and Susan Mumbi and Francis Kibaru both of USA.

Sister to the late Nyambura Karanja of Githiga, Giathi Kiuru of Eiburgon, Kibaru Kiuru of Naivasha, Mugure Chege of Keriget and Njeri Ng’era of Ol Kalou.

Co-wife to the late Mary Njeri Karanja of Ngarariga.

Mother-in-law to the late Jane Mumbi, Hannah Wamuita and James Mwaura both of USA, Ether Wanjiru Njuguna, John Ng’ang’a and Joseph Mbugua, Rose Waithera Ng’ang’a, Esther Wambui Kiuru, Hannah Wanjiku Gathairu and Wairimu Kibaru and Willy Mwikonyi Mbugua both of USA. Loving grandmother and great grandmother to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at her home in Gitithia from 4:00pm for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The burial will be held on 2nd June 2023. The cortege will leave Uplands Funeral Home at 8:00am and proceed to her home in Gitithia Jet Scheme for funeral and burial service.

May her soul rest in eternal peace.
