Appreciation

We, the family of the late Mr and Mrs Kariuki Kinuthia, would like to thank God Almighty for the wonderful years that we spent and loved with our dear mum and dad who were also wonderful grandparents to our children.

We wish to appreciate everyone: extended family, friends, neighbours, work colleagues, church members and all who stood and prayed with us, encouraged us, gave of their time and services unconditionally, and provided support financially, spiritually and in kind.

Special appreciation goes to the PCEA Evergreen Church led by Reverend Nehemiah Mburu, Session Clerk Elder Mrs. Catherine Githaiga, Congregational Chairperson Elder Mrs. Esther Wambari, and Ridgeways District led by Elder Kuria, Woman’s Guild, PCMF, Diamond Ladies, the Funeral Organising Committee, Ridgeways Residents Association, CITAM, Lord Change Me Ministry, Kuina na Kugocha Group, Kamuchege Funeral Committee, and all our service providers who provided their dedicated services daily at home, in church and at Kamuchege up to the burial and thereafter.

We wish to express our sincere gratitude to PCEA Evergreen Church for hosting the Memorial Service and Reverend Emmanuel Nkoitiko for presiding over the service and delivering the sermon, PCEA Evergreen Worship Team and Kiswahili Choir for leading the service at the Church.

PCEA Naomi Warigo Church Kamuchege Church and Kamuchege Community for hosting the funeral service, and a very special thanks to Reverend Nehemiah Mburu for presiding over the funeral and burial service and Reverend Muiruri for the prayers.

Bishop and Pastor Adah Adoyo, CITAM leaders and members, Pastor Akenga, Pastor Felix for the messages of encouragement, sermons, visitation, prayers and support.

All Church Ministers, Reverends, Pastors, and Elders who walked with our family the entire time.

The medical teams at Aga Khan University Hospital and AAR Hospital Kiambu Road.

We also wish to thank the Montezuma Funeral Home for the services provided and for ensuring a fitting send off for our beloved mum.

We thank all those who joined us in honouring, remembering, and celebrating the life of Salome Njoki Kinuthia (SNK) during prayers at home, at the memorial service, at the funeral and burial service.

While we cannot thank everyone by name, we are deeply grateful to all those who supported us in different capacities during this period.
