It is with great sadness and with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Sam Wangai Mugo who was promoted to glory on 15th June 2018 in Lister Hospital in Stevenage UK.

Sam Wangai Mugo was the Son of Mr. Joseph Mugo Gituku of Kiambu Thindigwa and Mrs. Ann Mugo Gituku (Wa Gituku), formerly living in Reading, UK. Sam was husband to Lynn Wangai of Welwyn Garden City. He was a twin brother to Wilson Gituku Mugo, brother to Diana Wambui Thuo and Evelyn Woki Mugo.

He was the grandson of the late Mr. and mrs Wilson Gituku Wangai of Gathaithi village, Kiambu. He was also the grandson of Mrs Hottensiah Wanjiku Rugui and the late Mr. Peter Rugui of Ngecha in Limuru, Kiambu. He was cousin to Dorothy Mukabi of Harrow and Mrs Chiru Wangai Muli of Ipswich among many other cousins in Kenya and U.S.A.

A funeral Service for the late Sam Wangai will take place at St. Paul’s Church, St Albans at 10;30 am, on Thursday, August 9th 2018 followed by the burial at Welwyn Hatfield District Cemetery, 8HS, South Way, Hatfield AL10 8HS at 1:00pm.
