Samuel Mwangi Wainaina

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Samuel Mwangi Wainaina formerly of the Ministry of Agriculture Muranga, from Gathera Village, Maragua South In Murang’a County.

Son of the late Francis Wainaina Gichomba and the late Margaret Mwihaki Wainaina. Husband of Virginia Kabura Mwangi. Son-in-law of the late Gideon Mutura and the late Naomi Wambui Mutura. Father of Francis S. lrungu, Charles Njoroge, Joseph Mburu Chomba, Peter Gathuita, Erastus Gikuru KOFC, James Nganga, John Mungai, David Macharia and Martin Kariuki. Father-in-law of Margaret Irungu, the late Rosemary Njoroge, Cecilia Mburu, Margaret Gathuita, Mary Gikuru, Ann Nganga, Eunice Mungai, Rachel Macharia and Jane Kariuki. Grand father and great grand father of many. Brother of Joseph Mburu, Paul Njoroge, Stephen Nganga and Julius Mungai. Brother in law of Samuel Mwangi Mutura.

Burial date will be on Friday 3 April 2020 at his farm in Gathera Village. Burial arrangements are in progress. However, due to the current government directive on COVID 19, burial will be attended by close family members only. We seek your understanding due to the prevailing circumstances.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home along Nairobi / Muranga Road near Kabati Town on Friday 3 April 2020 at 8.00 am for burial at home starting at 10.00 am.
