Samuel Otieno Obudo

It is with profound sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Mr. Samuel Otieno Obudo that occurred on 8th April 2023.

He was the son of the late Mzee John Obudo Rayola and the late Mama Hulda Okeno Obudo of Dirubi village, Siany location, Upper Nyakach Division, Kisumu County.

Dear husband of Madam Esther Otieno, former Deputy Headteacher Ezra Gumbe Primary School. Father of Trevor Omondi Otieno, Diana Anyango Otieno, Jackline Akoth Otieno and Felix Obudo Otieno.

Father-in-law of Teresiah Onami and Chrispin Oguna. Grandfather of Tansi Aira and Leila Amayra.

Step-son of Mama Herina Aluoch and Mama Mary Akinyi Obudo.

Brother of Meshack Ochieng Obudo, Elfas Onyango Obudo, Eluid Ouma Obudo, Geoffrey Ogweno Obudo, Ken Omondi Obudo, Justus Okoth Obudo, Ruth Anyango, the late Esther Akinyi, the late Seth Odhiambo, Magaret Kiche, the late Loice Adoyo, the late Benta Obudo, Jemima Omondi, Jackline Akeyo, Roseline Adhiambo and Linet Atieno.

Brother-in-law of Lilian Odhiambo, Mercy Ochieng, jacinta Ouma, Esther Onyango, Mary Omondi, Joyce Ogweno, Leah Okoth, Grace Odhiambo, Marren Milongo, the late Ezra Odondi, Solomon Odhiambo Swango, the late Joseph Abongo Swango, Judith Okomo, the late Millicent Achieng,Tom Swango and Hellen Adhiambo.

Nephew of Ezra Otuoma, the late Gabriel Ojwang, Martha Onyango, Salome Obala.

He was Grandson of the late Azaria Ochola and Hellena Ochola of Ringa Kojwach village.

The Church service shall be held at Maxwell SDA Church Nairobi on 3rd May 2023 from 12.00Pm.

The cortege leaves Lee Funeral Home on 4th May 2023 and will arrive in Kisumu at 9:00am. Burial shall take place on 5th May 2023 at his home in Nyakach, Dirubi Village – Dirubi Secondary School.
