Appreciation Of A Matriach

We, the family of the late Sarah Nasieku Leteipan, wish to convey our deepest and heartfelt appreciation to all who stood with us as we laid our beloved mum, matriarch, and a woman of substance to rest. The journey towards her sendoff would not have been seamless and befitting as it was without all your emotional, physical and financial support. We are grateful to God for the years He gave her to us and the immense impact she made in our lives and many others at large.

We extend our sincere heartfelt gratitude to our President, H.E. Uhuru Kenyatta, for condoling with us and acknowledging Mama’s contribution to the country as a humble, dedicated servant and citizen. Our special appreciation also goes to the Governor of Kajiado, Hon. Joseph Ole Lenku, the Kajiado County Commissioner, the MCAs, Hon. Charles M. Njonjo, and other dignitaries who condoled with us. Special mention of members from St. Peter’s Church Nyali; Mombasa Maa Group; Arata Group;`Somo and Sisters’ In Love’ and the funeral committee; family and friends. We also extend our special thanks to the clergy of ACK, led by His Grace the Archbishop Dr. Jackson Ole Sapit, The Right Rev. Bishop (Rtd.) Ole Taama, All Saints Cathedral Provost Canon Sammy Wainaina, St. Francis Karen Vicar, Ven. Rev, Joyce Kariuki; Rev. Josephine Ngahu; CITAM-Nairobi amongst others, for feeding us spiritually and leading prayers during and after the burial.

Our gratitude also goes to Dr. Robert Mathenge and Dr. Hatibu and their team for their professionalism and passion for all the years they took care of her and all the staff of Nairobi Hospital HDU who cared for her in her last days. Dr. Ndegwa of Diane Hospital and Dr. Ndegwa of Palm Beach Hospital. No words could ever express our appreciation to all, family and friends, who showed us love, kindness and generosity during this trying time following the demise of our loving Mama/Yeiyo/Kokoo.

May God grant us all peace and harmony now and forever.
