The Wanjala Family wishes to announce the promotion to glory of Mrs. Sarah Naswa Christopher Wanjala on 3rd April, 2023 after a long illness bravely borne.

Wife to the late Professor Christopher Lukorito Wanjala.

Daughter to the late Luka Wanjala and the late Rachel Namikoye. Mother to David, Michael, Dr. Alex, Catherine, Caroline Rehema, Emmanuel, Barnaby. Step-mother to the late Rose, Levi, Oliver, Givern, Christian Benard, Millie, Martin, Gavin, Andrew, Nelson and Timothy.

Mother-in-law to Anthea, Mary, Annabelle, Neto, Nathan, Cynthia, Nancy, Hellen, Esther, Lucy, Nixon, Rose, Lucky Rhoda and Lilian.

Sister to the late James Simiyu, Resa Khakasa, the late Harrison Nato, the late Reba Nabukhwami, the late Gideon Malaba, the late Ayub Masinde, Haroun Barasa, Anne Nafula, the late Dorice Nasimiyu, Benson Wankhwe, Dinah Chilande and Moses Kisiangani.

Mulamwa to John Khaoya, Richard Lukorito, Milcah Barasa, Gladys Masinde, Rosemary Tolokwa, among others.

Basakwa to The Mannassehs, Francesca Mutua, The Mugos, The Otienos, The Makokhas, The Mutigas, and The Macharias. Grandmother to many.

Funeral arrangements are taking place at her residence in Madaraka Estate, daily at 5:30pm.

There will be a fundraising at All Saints Cathedral on Wednesday 12th April, 2023 at 5:30pm.

A funeral service will be held at Parklands Baptist Church on the 13th April, 2023 at 11.00am.

Burial will be in Mabuye Village, Lwandeti Location, Kakamega County on the 15th April, 2023.
