Sarah Nyagithima Kamunya (Wa Muturi)

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Sarah Nyagithima Kamunya (Wa Muturi), that occurred on Friday, 14/10/2022.

Daughter of the late Gatundu Kiragu and lam Mirriam Nieri, Wife of the late Silas Kivnunya Karuga. Mother of Joseph Muturi & Wania, Stephen Karuga & Esther, Naomi Wambui, Njeri & Charles, Ezekiel Njoroge & Grace, Samuel Mbugua & Josephine (Ngoingwa – Thika), Mucera & Waweru (Victory), Peter Mathu & Anastacia and Beth Nyakihiu. Step-mother of Samuel Kuria, David Nguri, among others.

Sister of the late Samuel Mbugua, the late Rev. George Ngugi, the lace Beth Nyakihiu, the late Monicah Njoki and the late Rahab Muthoni. A grandmother and great-grandmother to many.

Family and relatives are meeting daily at her home in Kamahindu and at her son’s Samuel Mbugua residence in Ngoingwa Thika, starting at 5.00pm for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege will leave Kijabe Hospital Mortuary on Friday, 21/10/2022 at 8,00am, followed by a funeral service and burial at her home in Kamahindu village, Kagwe, Uri in Kiambu County, starting at 10.00am.
