It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Sarah Sote Chepsergon (Kokop Chepkemoi) of Kaptimbor Village, Kabarnet.

Wife of the late Assistant Chief Chepsergon Chesang. Co-wife of Joan Kimoi Chepsergon and Sote Chepsergon. Daughter of the late Kiplagat and Kabon Cheptubei. Sister of Sote Kibowen, Sote Kiptui and others. Sister-in-law of Pauline, late Jennifer, Rose, late Anthony, late Joseph, Hon Grace Kiptui, James and late Josephine Mjumbe. Mother of Ambassador Michael Sergon, the late Julius, ClIr Ben Sergon (USA), John Sergon, William, Mary, Francis, and the late Henry. Step-mother of Richard, Peter, Daniel, Paul, Stephen (USA), Sely, Sister Margaret, late Rael, Pascalia, Rogers (Canada) and Brigit (Sweden). Mother-in-law of Bernardine, Peris, Ruth, Florentina, Stella, Dina, Rebecca, Flomena, Esther, Catherine, Brenda, Salina, Dina. Grandmother of Linda (USA), Amos, Nixon, Carol (USA), Noela (USA), Raymond (Canada), Moses (USA), Domtila, Nancy, Fred (USA), Elvis, Martin, Faith, Jacob, James (USA), Jacklyn (Sweden) among others. Great grandmother of many.

Funeral arrangements are ongoing at her home Kaptimbor, Kabarnet daily and on Thursday October 3rd, 2019 at 5.00pm, St. Paul University Chapel, Nairobi.

Fund raising will be on Sunday Oct 6th in Kaptimbor and Tuesday October 8th at St. Paul University Chapel, Nairobi.

The cortege will leave Baringo County Referral Hospital, on Friday 11th October, 2019 at 8.00am for Mass at the Kabarnet ASK Showground and thereafter funeral at her Kaptimbor home.
