Sarah Wandia Githae Mithamo

We, the family of the late Sarah Wandia Githae, wish to express our deep gratitude to the Almighty God for the gift of our gentle and loving Maitu, Cucu, sister, auntie and friend. During this time of loss and mourning we have been comforted, carried and strengthened by our faithful and loving heavenly Father.

We would like to sincerely thank PCEA Church St Andrews. PCEA Evergreen Church. PCEA Gitunduti & PCEA Kihuri Church and all the clergy who conducted and participated in the evening prayer sessions, the memorial and funeral services.To the choirs who soothed and uplifted us in hymns and songs we say thank you. Also, to the Woman’s Guild, Gitunduti PCEA, we are thankful for the many visits and warm fellowship you afforded Maitu when she was ailing and which she immensely enjoyed. We remember, with gratitude, the medical team that took care of Maitu over the years. A special thank you goes to our sister, Grace Mwihaki, and to Maitu’s dedicated caregivers, for being ever present, to the Committees in Nairobi and Gitunduti, for the way you worked together to enable us give Maitu a befitting farewell, thank you.

To each of you who visited us, condoled with us, comforted us and unreservedly supported us with your resources, time, money and prayers, may the Lord remember you.
