It is with great humility and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the peaceful rest of Sarah Wangari Njoroge (Nyina wa Gathoni), on Thursday 29th August 2019. Formerly of Ministry of Agriculture Veterinary Services, Kabete.

Daughter of the late David Gatama and Grace Wanjiku Gatama. She was the beloved wife of the late Paul Njoroge Nduati, loving mother of Virginia Gathoni Karega, Grace Wanjiku Njoroge (formerly of JRS), the late Jennifer Wambui Njoroge, David Nduat, Njoroge. Esther Njoki Kamau (Ngong) and Rachel Njoki Njoroge of Panari Hotel (formerly of Sankara Hotel). Mother-in-law of Joseph Karega Kamau and Simon Kamau. Sarah was a sister of Mary Njeri Sang, Esther Njoki, Michael Kamau, Loyce Nyambura, Lucy Mwihaki and Paul Kabucho. She was a loving grandmother of Serah Karega (formerly l&M Bank), William Karega, Angela Wambui (formerly Moore Stephens), Jeffery Njoroge, Allan Kamau, Kate Karega, Bryson Marenga, Sandra Kamau, Eugene Karega, Malcom Njoroge, Paul Nduati, Ashley Mwihaki, Nicole Wangari, Nathan Nduati, Njoroge Kamau and Marcus Kimani. She was the great grandmother of Damien Karega.

Family and friends are meeting daily at her home in Thiboro, Kangemi Thion’go Road for funeral arrangements.

The body will leave Umash Funeral Home on Friday 6th Sept 2019 at 8:00 am, for the funeral service to be held at St Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, Kangemi at 10:00 am, and burial thereafter at her home.
