Sarah Wanjiru Kariuki

1920 – 2021

It with deep sorrow and grief, but also with gratitude and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of our dear mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Mrs. Sarah Wanjiru Kariuki.

The deceased was the wife of the late Peter Kariuki Mwangi (PK) of Thika. She was the mother to: Margaret Njenga & the late James Njenga, Hon Nduati Kariuki (Speaker Muranga County) & Nellus Kariuki, Rosemary Kahuki and the late John Kahuki, the late Ann Muthundo & James Muthundo, Felicity Nyagah & Norman Nyagah, Maina Kariuki & Lucy Kariuki. Step mother to the late Richard Nduatl, Kui Sellers & Ben Sellers and the late Susan Kariuki. She was Cucu, great-grandmother and great great-grandmother to many.

The memorial service and other rites will be conducted on Wednesday 16th June at 10.00am, at St. Peters Ack Church Kame, Mitubiri Location, Muranga. Covid 19 guidelines will be observed as directed by the church.

She fought a good fight of faith and earned eternal life for which she was called when she made her confession. I st Timothy 6:12.
