The Achia Family regrets to announce the death of Mama Scholastica Elizabeth Mwai Achia, which occurred on Friday, 12Th August 2022 at Pandya Memorial Hospital, Mombasa.

Beloved wife of Engineer Joshua Wilfred Ochieng Achia of Kanyaluo, Karachuonyo. Mother to Anthony Achia, Prof. Thomas Achia, Susan Achia, Sydney Achia, William Achia and Steve Achia.

Mother-in-law to Mildred Yongo, Dorine Katiba, Jacqueline Adhiambo, Liza Olang’ and Ann Bukachi.

Sister to Justine Ndong’, Rose Odero,Jane Babu, Pamella Okello, the late Charles .Odoyo and Christine Otieno.

Sister-in-law to the late Pastor Zablon Asiyo, Malachi Ogembo, Shelemia Achia, Enosh Ocholla, the late James Achia, the late Simeon Omolloh and David Achia. David Lukio, Zacharia Abott, Eliud Okello and CalvinS Otieno, Jerusha Asiyo, Margaret Ogembo, Bellia Miseti, Roselyne Ocholla, Damaris Ager, Eiza Ngon, Janet Omollo, Celestine Akinyi and Hilda Achia.

Nyawana to the late Betty and Fanuel Amakobe, the late Daniel Yongo and Jane Nyawara, the late Charles Otwo and Christine Auma Otwo, Mr. & Mrs. Ishmael Abutto; Mama Beldina Akeyo Ayayo, and Christine Owino Madara.

There will be a fundraising to offset medical bills and funeral expenses on Tuesday, 23rd August 2022 at 5.00pm, Nairobi Central SDA Church, Maxwell.

The burial shall take place on Friday, 26th August 2022 at her home in Ngere-Kitweru in Kamagambo, Rongo, Migori County.
