Senior Sergeant Salome Nyanchama Momanyi – Sitienei

It’s with profound sorrow and heavy hearts, we deeply regret to announce the passing of Salome Nyanchama Momanyi – Sitienei.

Wife to Thomas Sitienei Mutai. Mother to Linda Sitienei, Ivan Sitienei and Sandra Sitienei.

Daughter of the late Wilfred Momanyi Kibogo and Priscillah Momanyi of Nyamusi, North Mugirango, Nyamira County. Daughter-in-law of Pauline Mutai and the late Joseph Kipkosgei Mutai.

Sister to Pamela, Jemimah Kibogo, Dorcas Momanyi, Joel Momanyi, Job Momanyi, Norah Momanyi, and James Momanyi.

Sister-in-law to Daniel, Rael, Jane, John, Mary, David, Noah, Simon, Monica, Milka, Morendi, Maroko, Grace and Eng. Kaarinah.

Niece to the late Ogero Kibogo, the late Buruchara Kibogo, the late Ndubi Nyaboga the late Hon. Nyarangi Moturi, Kibogo, the late Babere Kibogo, Andrew Joseph Oyugi, Jimmy Moturi, Zachary Moturi, Rtd Col. Moturi, Nyachae Moturi,Anarn Moturi, the late Nyanchoka Karani, the late Kemurna Maseru, the late Nyabonyi, the late Mabera, Obonyo, Esther, Milkah, Anna, the late Agnes, Mary, Sarah and Margaret Moturi. Salome was a cherished cousin and aunt to many.

Fundraising event is scheduled for Tuesday, 29th August, 2023 at Cardinal Otunga Plaza, St. Bakhita Hall, followed by a requiem mass at The Forces Memorial Church on 30th August, 2023 at 2.00pm.

The cortege is scheduled to depart from the Mashujaa Funeral Home on Thursday, 31st August, 2023, at 07:00 am. A funeral service will be held at the All Saints Church Kenya Military Academy in Lanet – Nakuru.

The final interment rites and burial ceremony will take place at her hometown in Tiret Village,Turbo Sub-county, Uasin Gishu County.
