Serah Wanjiru Kahonoki

It is with profound loss and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Serah Wanjiru Kahonoki on 13th October 2022 at Nairobi Hospital after a long illness bravely borne. She hails from Kabazi, Nakuru County.

She was the daughter to the late Joseph Nyaga Wandati and the late Esther Wanjiku Nyaga.

Loving wife to the late Joseph Kahonoki Njoroge. Dear mother to Samuel Njoroge Kahonoki and Mary Muthoni, Peter Nyaga Kahonoki and Grace Wangui, Grace Wairimu and Preston Atali, Esther Wanjiku Kahonoki. Grandmother to Branson, Gabriel, McKenna, Jaden, Jasmine, Jaron, Andriel and Avidan.

Sister to David Nyaga, George Wandate, Jane Leah Wangari, Anne Njoki, John Kabue, Grace Waithira, Elizabeth Waceke, Benson Kamau, Simon Kagia, the late Robert King’ori and the late Mary Njeri.

Daughter-in-law to Samuel Njoroge Kahonoki and Grace Nyanjiru Njoroge. Sister-in-law to the late Muigai Kiheo, Mwangi, Ruiru,Virginia and Wanini.

She was a long serving teacher at Kamemo Primary School till her retirement.

Family and friends are meeting at her home in Kabazi and at Norwich Towers Nairobi from 5:30pm for burial arrangements.

The cortege will leave Umash Funeral Home Nakuru on 20th October 2022 at 8.00am and funeral ervice at A.C.K Kabazi Church from 11:00am. Burial will follow at her farm in Kabazi.
