10th Anniversary

Awino, today is the I0th anniversary of the day that I lost you, and for some time it felt like my life had ended too. But loss has taught me many things and now I face each day with hope and happiness to help me on my way as I raise our children.Though I am full of sadness that you are no longer here, your influence still guides me, and I still feel you near. What we shared will never die. It lives within my heart, bringing strength and comfort while we are apart.

I thought of you today, but that is nothing new. I thought about you yesterday and days before that too. I think of you in silence, I often speak your name. All I have are memories and your picture in a frame.

Your memory is a keepsake from which I will never part. God has you in His arms, I have you in my heart.They say those we love don’t go away, they walk beside us every day. Unseen, unheard but always near, still loved, still missed and very dear. Life has moved on, but you are still with us each and every day.You live in our memories, in our hearts and a picture in a frame.

There are days when the pain is still raw.When our broken hearts shed tears filled with Iove.Those are the days we hold closer, the belief that in your passing, your soul gained peace.We thank God for the laughter, lessons we learnt and the moments we will forever hold dear.

There will be mass on Friday, 3rd March 2023, 10.00am at our home in Khayega, Kakamega County.
