Silas David Baya Mweri (S.D. Mweri)

We announce the death of Mr. Silas David Mweri, (S.D. Mweri), the second born son of the late Ven. Canon Nathaniel Mweri and the late Naomi Sidi Mweri of Dabaso Ward, Kilifi North Sub-county.

Husband of Dorothy Wawuda Baya Mweri. Father to Charity Mapenzi Mweri, The Hon. Owen Yaa Baya (Deputy Leader of Majority and MP – Kilifi North Constituency), the late Pamela Kache, Felix Mweri, Bishop Alohonce Mwaro Baya (ACK Bishop of Mombasa), Mercy Kadii (MAWASCO) and Catherine Harusi (KIMAWASCO).

Brother of the late Loice Kache Thoya, the late Isaac Charo Mweri, Betty Kadii Kenga, Pauline Mwenda Mweri, Dorothy Kadzo Nganje, Hilda Nyevu Mramba, Lay Cannon Ambassador Benjamin Mure Mweri, Dr. Jefwa G Mweri (UoN).

Father-in-law to Esha Shaban (Pwani University), Lydia Mweri, Martha Mwaro, Fred Mwanengo and Shadrack Chando.

Grandfather to Mghoi, Kuvuna, Ken, Maua, Mbodze, Brian, Shujaa, Fahari, Hariri, Blessing, Baya, Mangi, Jeff and Daisy.

The cortege leaves Kilifi County Funeral Home on Saturday, 19th November, 2022 at 7.00am for his rural home in Dabaso Village and burial on the same day Saturday, 19th November, 2022 starting from 9.00am.

God gave us Silas and God has taken him to His Glory. May the Name of the Lord be praised.
