It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of our hero Silas Ringine Imanane (Jasho) on 12th September 2019 at his home in Isiolo after a short illness.

Son of the late Barnabas Imanene, the late Tabitha Nyoroka and the late Rebecca NKachii. Husband of Florence Gacheri and Jacinta Makena. Brother of Charles, Harriet, Loise, Ruth, Douglas, the late Esther, Charity, the late Daniel, Serah, the late Hellen, Norah, Bessy and Dorothy. Father of Jane (Dkt Mikinduri), the late Manyara, Lucy (Sera Park), Glory (Emirates), Makandi (Meru University), Eunice (Business), Mercy (Maua Methodist), the late Martin, Lawrence (DCI Gatundu), Grace (Dubai, UAE), Leah (Aga Khan), Alice(Dubai, UAE), Guantai (Business Maua), Rehab (Advocate, Kenafric) and Nelson (Strathmore). Father in law of Jacob (Nairuti & Associates), Mwangi (Ol Kalou), Tom (Scotland), Titus (Seattle, USA), Steve (Maua), Richard (Dubai, UAE), Sayyed (IT Consultant, Nrb), Gilbert (Emirates) and Silvialeah (Nyambene General Hospital). Uncle, Grandfather and Great-grandfather of many.

Relatives and Friends are meeting daily at his homes in Maua (Jasho rest house next to Society supermarket), Meru (kathaene) and Isiolo.

The cortege leaves Kiirua Mission Hospital on Tuesday, 24th September, 2019 for a Funeral Service at Gitoro pastoral Center and thereafter he will be laid to rest at his home in Kathaene, Kambakia,  Meru County.

    Daughter of the late Francis Kiryungu Muli and the late Mutongoi Kiryungu. She was step daughter of Katumbe Kiryungu. Loving wife of John Mwangangi Mwavu formerly of Kenya Breweries, mother of Peter Muthui of Internet Bookshop Mwingi, Charles Mwendwa, Mary Mwende, Monica, Mulili, Mailu of Pivel Filling Station Kamuwongo, Wambua KDF, Mueni, Kanyiva, Kasyoka and Susan both of Kitui Level 5 Hospital. Mother in-law of Lucy, the late Kasyoka, Katunye, Mwikali, Kamene, Ngui, Kilonzo, Paul, Ngui Nzangya, Patrick, Kalonzo and Jeff Kiema. Sister of the late Miunda, Mutemi, Katongu, Mumbi, Kalunge, the late Syengo, Monica and Mbete. Sister in-law of Karege, Musyimi Mwavu, Justus Wambua. Grandmother of Lilian, Kioko, Kasalu,Vundi, Denis, Fiona, Maundu, Mumo, Ndanu, Mawia, Lewis, Kanyange, Ndinda among others. Great grandma of Abigail Muathime.

    Friends and relatives are meeting daily at Parkside Hotel Mwingi, Garden Square Nairobi, Kamuwongo Market and Jt Cafe Kitui from 7.00 pm.

    There will be funds drive on Thursday 19th September 2019 at Parkside Hotel Mwingi and Jt café Kitui.

    The cortege leaves Mbaku Funeral Home Matuu on Saturday 21st September 2019 at 8.00 am for a funeral service and burial at her home in Kamuthale Sub
