Silvano Ruchuu (Gathunga) Muraguri

It is with profound sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we the family of Silvano Ruchuu (Gathunga) Muraguri announce his demise on Saturday 28th November, 2020 at KNH, Nairobi, after a battle with cancer bravely borne.

Beloved husband of Lucy Wanjiru Ruchuu. Loving father of Lisa Warigia (JKUAT) and Charles Karira (Pioneer School-Murang’a). Son of the late Mwalimu Charles Muraguri Kanyingi and the late Mwalimu Margaret Waruguru Muraguri. Son-in-law of the late Sgt. Simon Muriithi Wanjohi and Esther Wairimu Muriithi. Brother of Urban Kanyingi, Rosa Wanjiru-Mwololo, Dennis Kamau, Nicholas Ngungu and Gichane Muraguri. Brother-in-law of the late Susan Muthoni, Patrick Wanjohi, Charity Wangeci, Jane Wahu and the late Richard Muthui. A loving uncle and grandfather of many.

Family and friends are meeting at his home in Dandora Phase I, Nick’s home Kahore-Kamacharia, and Abbey Restaurant, Nairobi, 4th floor, Simba Room 6:00 – 8:00pm daily.

The cortege leaves KNH Mortuary, on Friday 04th December, 2020 at 7:00am for Funeral Service at Kahore, 11:00am. Burial rites to follow at his Kahore farm.
