It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to Glory of Silvia Gakiiru Kiruja, that occurred on 10th April, 2021, after a short illness.

Dear wife of Mr. Simon Kiruja (Meru Central Dairy Union Chairman). Mother of Gilbert Mutuma, Ann Kendi, Martin Murimi, John Mworia, Purity Kendi, Patrick Mugambi and Judith Gakii. Daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Zacharia Muthamia. Daughter-in-law of Mr. & Mrs. Josphat M’Ikiara. Mother-in-law of Winnie, Lucy, Judy, Norah, Kinyua, Edward and Kim. Grandmother to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily for prayers and burial arrangements at her home Taita village Nkubu, Prime Hotel Nkubu and Meru Safari Hotel.

The cortege leaves Kiirua Mission Hospital on Friday 16th April, 2021 at 8:00am for funeral service at Heritage Garden at 10:00am and thereafter burial at her home in Taita village, Nkubu.

In compliance to MoH Covid-19 protocols, funeral arrangements are being planned by a small-number committee at the highlighted places.
