It is with profound sadness and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announcethe  death of Simon Kanyara Kogi, which occurred on 23/04/2021 in Nairobi.

Son of the late Ayub Kogi Ndegwa and Ruth Wangari Kogi and a Son-in-law of the late Jonathan Katululu and Priscillah Mwikali. Loving husband of Yvonne Munyiva Kanyara. Devoted father of Cypencer Kioko Kanyara, Ruth Wangari Kanyara and Job Kogi Kanyara. Brother of Martha Wairimu Mukuha, Joel Ndegwa Kogi, Benjamin Kimani Kogi, Miriam Njeri Muchiri, John Muchai Kogi and David Chege Kogi. Brother-in-law of Faith Kimani, Priscillah Muchai, Ruth Chege, Ruth Njoroge, the late Linah Mbuladosephine Mutindi, Hellen Ndunge, Vonette Mbithe, Emma Itumbi, Rebecca Ngusye,Titus Mutunga, James Kioko and Philip Maingi. An uncle, cousin and friend to many.

The cortege leaves Lee Funeral Home (Nairobi), on Friday 30th April, 2021, at 5:30am. The burial service will held at his home, Matindirl, Ol-Kalou, Nyandarua. Please note: Covid-19 protocols will be strictly observed.
